Overview

Prior to Bitcoin's commercial success, Cache Wallet was a pioneer in the digital currency space. The team developed custom hardware devices that allowed users to securely store their bitcoins locally. These devices synced with the mobile app, enabling users to send peer-to-peer payments globally.

Goals

Drawing inspiration from science fiction interfaces, the design embodies the product's approach: a futuristic reinvention of financial interaction.

Problem Space

Workday relied on the same homepage, navigation, and information architecture for all users, regardless of their specific roles or usage patterns.


As a result, Frequent Flyers—those who engage extensively with the platform—experienced frustration due to the one-size-fits-all approach.


The goal of the project was to acknowledge that these high-frequency users have distinct and often opposite needs compared to other users, and to create a more tailored and intuitive experience for them."

Meet Sara

An HRIS Manager. She balances numerous responsibilities while addressing requests from her direct reports. As a Frequent Flyer, Sara lives and breathes Workday, depending on it as a crucial tool in her daily job.


Frequent Flyers like Sara use Workday all day, every day, engaging in deep, job-related tasks that require focus and efficiency. Their usage and mental models differ significantly from other user types, often demanding greater control and personalization within the system to support their unique workflows.
